About Slobs Beer
Once upon a time, the State Line Hoptomistic Brewing Society was a real little corner of beer chaos — home brewers, beer fans, old stories, and questionable ideas that probably sounded better after a few pints.
These days, the website itself is mostly my personal revival project. The old brewers have moved on to their own lives and their own taps, though some are still brewing in their own corners of the world. Old friends are always welcome to stop by, remember the chaos, and see what this site is turning into.
The Old Society
The State Line Hoptomistic Brewing Society still matters as the history behind the site. It was never exactly a formal organization, but it had a name, a spirit, and enough beer-soaked momentum to end up on the internet. This rebuild keeps the name, the memories, and the attitude alive without pretending it is still a busy club.
Beer Notes
This area is for tasting notes, brewing experiments, old recipes, random beer thoughts, and whatever else belongs in the notebook of a one-man beer website.
Future Beer Game
A beer-themed browser game is planned for this site. This section will eventually become the launch point for the game, with room for a canvas or JavaScript-powered arcade area.
Game coming later. Kegs, chaos, and questionable forklift decisions expected.
